该工厂 位于广东省中山市火炬高新技术工业开发区。工厂占地4万平方米。其子公司中山材料位于中山市民中镇沙子工业区，占地15,000平方米。
Elkem Silicones Guangdong 成立于2009年，其子公司中山材料成立于2010年。Elkem ASA于2020年4月正式宣布，Elkem 硅胶广东及其子公司中山材料已整合进Elkem的硅胶业务部门。
广东以定制化服务著称，专注于硅橡胶及其他硅胶制品的生产。这是一家在中国开发、生产和销售硅胶材料的公司。该工厂每年生产近6000吨液态硅胶和10000吨固体硅胶。中山致力于特种硅胶涂层材料的研发与生产，包括压敏胶、脱模剂、粘结剂、硅树脂和特种印刷油墨，这些材料均以优良品质著称。拥有三条主要生产线，即压敏胶生产线、MQ树脂生产线和印刷油墨生产线，硅胶压力产能达2000吨。
